An early achiever, you now see Mr. Salvi on the screens of Total Television as undeniably this is the face behind the System Integration and successful Technical Operation of India's first 24 Hours NCR (National Capital Region) News channel.

Being the youngest System Integrator, Shyam Salvi has managed technically for many News Channels. His precision, diligence and vast expertise in the field has made him overcome many technological and conventional limitations to reach a position which marks his stand. Undoubtedly it is his core perseverance, professionalism and quality experience that makes him one of the most innovative and dynamic technical chief for news channels. He also has the credit for introducing technologies for News and current affair channels on the Mac Operating System, Building 4Media.

After graduating in B.Sc and B. Tech from the university of Bombay, Mr. Salvi started his career as a Service Engineer for Telerad ( Sony Broadcast Equipments' Authorized dealer in India) in 1997 and then later joined Praman India and underwent a technical training from OEM in UK for almost all Quantel equipments. In 1999 he joined UTV, Delhi to head Technical Management. What came as a breakthrough was the offer to manage the Engineering Unit of North India for Star News and gave him the opportunity to install Star News Channel in Delhi autonomously.

One of his most recent achievements has been the designing and integration of an in house OB Van. Highly proficient and economical, the successful operation of this OB VAN has added monetary and functional boost to the organization.

Mr. Salvi visualizes revolutionary changes in broadcasting scenario in India including System Integration of FM Stations and Teleport.
