TOTAL TV was launched successfully on 19th Feb, 2005. TOTAL TV is a unique concept where in local happenings ethos, local culture, local traditions, local life style/fashion find expression.
It is the first city centric, satellite channel in Indian Broadcasting history. Delhi & NCR, considered to be heart of India, from which a unique culture, life style & tradition has emerged.
Unfortunately, this new youthful and unique Delhi and its neighborhood have not found its expression in broad casting arena.
Although, local news paper and to some extent local magazines tried to capture this unique emerging Delhi, but could not give full justice due to the limitation of the media. There is a need of a focused city based channel aiming at catering to the needs of Delhites in terms of information & entertainment. TOTAL TV is dedicated in bringing this unique expression of Delhi not only for the country, but to the world outside, by dedicating itself to present the diverse cultural and unique expression of Delhi.
Delhi is not only attracting people from all over India but also attracting people from South Asia & various parts of the world, who leave behind their own impression and ethos which is absorbed by Delhi. It is high time that this new vibrant, energetic and multi cultural Delhi is showcased by a TV channel to the world at large. TOTAL TV, are decided to expressing the unique concept of Delhi, not only to residents of Delhi but to the entire nation as well as the world audience.
